OUR MISSION
Decoda’s mission is to work with mining companies to make the mining life cycle more sustainable. To foster team collaboration, empower better decisions and deliver sustained continuous improvement across the mining life cycle, from production to rehabilitation. To drive productivity improvement and help miners reduce their production cost per tonne and their rehabilitation final landform costs.

WHERE WE STARTED
Decoda was officially launched in July 2022, though our history started within Hasting Deering in 2018 with a focus on helping customers get more productivity from their mining machines, using technology and data generated from connected machines.
The successful development trial of a load and haul analytics solution with a global mining customer, at mine sites both in Australia and overseas, inspired confidence to expand and build capability beyond the dealer.
As our knowledge of the market grew and the appetite for the mining industry to invest in digital analytics to solve many of the challenging problems they faced, our aspiration expanded to include building a solution for productivity improvement across the whole mining life cycle – from mine planning, production and through to mine rehabilitation.

WHERE WE’RE GOING
In just a few years, Decoda have already worked with multiple mines across different commodities and global locations, with a specific focus on optimising their productivity and closing the gap between digital strategy and execution.
We are driven to be recognised as a technology leader at the forefront of innovation within the mining industry – while never losing sight of the belief that people must be at the centre of improvement initiatives.
Our aspiration is to be part of transforming the mining industry’s adoption of data analytics and digital technology solutions that standardise and optimise the industry’s performance resulting in a more efficient, productive, and socially attractive industry.
We are excited by the possibilities and the opportunities to help customers transform their operations while maintaining a unique focus on performance optimisation across the mining life cycle.
