Originally recorded by blue-eyed soul singer Chris Farlowe in 1967, 'Handbags and Gladrags' was then released as a single by American trumpeter Bill Chase in 1971 and Rod Stewart a year later before Stereophonics took it into the UK Top 5 in 2001. The Waysted version of the track was also famously used as the theme tune to Ricky Gervais’ 'The Office.'
