Props to Michael J. Fox for only saying what a lot of people are already thinking.
But despite publicly slating Taylor Swift’s song-writing approach earlier this week, the country star today revealed that the pair are now on good terms.
The Hollywood actor had told Vulture magazine that he would not want his son to date the 23-year-old after Tina Fey jokingly warned Swift to ‘stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son’ at the Golden Globes:
“I don’t keep up with it at all. Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career. [If the song was] ‘Sam, You Piece of S**t’…[I'd go] ‘Oh that was the girl you brought home!’.”
A fair comment, considering Swift has reportedly written songs about Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer after dating them.
But after receiving criticism from her army of ‘Swifties,’ Swift revealed on Twitter that Fox had contacted her to explain his remarks:

Nevertheless, Harry Styles should still be very very afraid.
