Attention all ladies that grew up in the 90′s; take a deep breath and make sure you’re seated… UK R&B boyband Damage have just announced on BBC Radio 1Xtra that they’re set to reunite with a string of live performances in London this month.
Jade, Andrez, Coreé, Rahsaan and Noel exclusively revealed to 1xtra DJ Twin B that they’ll be performing alongside some big 90′s R&B names at Wembley Arena: the March 23rd concert will see Damage performing alongside American names such as SWV, Blackstreet, Dru Hill and Jodeci; a full-on 90′s/early 00′s throwback!
The boyband also revealed that they’ll be bringing on Strictly Come Dancing and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, who featured on Damage’s track ‘Rumours’ back in 2000, early on in her solo career.
The British boys will also be returning to intimate Camden venue the Jazz Café, London, next Friday, March 15th. Check out the footage below when Damage previously performed there and brought out Alesha to perform ‘Rumours’ live:
Damage had a series of hits in the UK, most notably with a cover of Eric Clapton’s ‘Wonderful Tonight’ and the Tim & Bob-produced ‘Ghetto Romance’ – check the video out below (looking a bit old school now!):
Tickets to see Damage live at Wembley arena on 23rd March are available through SongKick, and for their Jazz Café gig on 15th March from Ticketmaster.
