You would have thought that a Grammy award, a platinum album and millions of screaming fans worldwide would be enough to stop Bruno Mars being envious of pretty much anyone… but apparently not. This week he has been tweeting about all the songs he wishes he had written.
First up is Amy Winehouse’s signature track ‘Rehab’, the song that brought the late London singer global fame and spoke candidly of her battle with drug addiction. Bruno tweeted recently to his fifteen million followers:
“They Try to make me go to rehab but i say No No No #WishIWroteThat (sic)”
“I believe in miracles. Since you came along. You sexy thang. You sexy thang you. #WishIWroteThat (sic)”
“Cause I see some ladies tonight who should be havin my baby…. baby #WishIwroteThat (sic)”
Despite all this, the 27-year-old pop icon still has the world at his feet – Bruno is in the process of promoting his most recent album release, ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’, from which the lead single ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks and the follow-up track, ‘When I Was Your Man’, also peaked at #1.
…So we won’t feel too sorry for him just yet.
