Anastacia1 Anastacia forced to cancel tour after breast cancer returns

Sad news. Anastacia has been diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time.

The ‘little lady with the big voice’, who previously beat the disease in 2003, has been forced to cancel her entire European tour, including her sole UK appearance at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 6.

The 44-year-old, who released her fifth studio album, ‘It’s a Man’s World‘, in November, issued a statement to her fans through Facebook last night (February 27):

“I feel so awful to be letting down all my amazing fans who were looking forward to ‘It’s A Man’s World Tour’. It just breaks my heart to disappoint them.”

The ‘I’m Outta Love‘ star underwent surgery and radiotherapy to combat the disease in 2003.

A representative for Anastacia, who charmed TV audiences last year when she joined Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos as a guest judge on The X Factor, said the brave singer plans to continue writing and recording her new album during this difficult time.

All tickets for Anastacia’s cancelled tour can be refunded from the point of purchase.

Get well soon, Annie.
